About Hye Camp

The goal of Hye Camp is to bring together children of Armenian heritage, in a Christian family atmosphere, where they can experience friendship and fellowship, participate in athletic activities and learn the history, culture, and faith of the Armenian Church.

Hye Camp is a unique, week long, Christian-based youth camp for Armenian children 9 to 15 years of age who want to learn more about their heritage and the teachings of the Armenian Church. The program includes a variety of educational and fun activities.

Through the leadership of caring and concerned clergy, staff, parents, and teachers, Hye Camp promotes the Christian values of good character, responsibility, and sportsmanship.

Lifelong friendships are created by the bonding among campers during daily worship as well as classes in culture, religion, sports, arts and crafts, and swimming.

The camp is located at: 26202 W. Nippersink Rd. in Ingelside, IL.

V. Rev. Fr. Aren Jebejian is camp director.
