Prayer Requests - For those who request Hokehankisd (Requiem Service) or to enter a loved one's name on the prayer list, please call the church by Thursday of that week for printing in the Sunday bulletin. Requiem Service may take place during the entire year (including Lent) except for the 5 Tabernacle Feast Days.

Nicene Creed: Together, we shall recite the Nicene Creed (The Profession of Our Faith) on Pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book found in the pews.
Confession and Communion - Those who will receive Holy Communion are asked to remain in their pews and together read the "Confession and Absolution" on Page 48 of the Divine Liturgy Book. When taking Communion, make the sign of the cross and say: I have sinned against God - Megha Asdoodzo. Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy Altar.
Care, Maintenance and Cost of the “Light of St. Gregory” - Our thanks to Victoria & Robert Kaprelian for taking the responsibility of the cost of Keeping "The Light of St. Gregory" illuminated for the month of June. Our thanks to Paula Aznavoorian Clare and family for taking the responsibility of keeping "The Light of St. Gregory" illuminated at the stained glass window for the month of June in memory of Veronica Aznavoorian.
The Ladies will be making Monte on Tuesday, June 10th at 10:30am. everyone is welcome to come and help.
Jennifer Black, daughter of Kevin & Denise (Tootooian) Black, graduated cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University on May 4th with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Jennie also had a minor in Psychology and was a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars, Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta First Year Honor Society, and Sigma Alpha lota International Music Fraternity. Jennie will be completing a preservation internship at the Historic Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC this summer.
Brian Black, son of Kevin and Denise (Tootooian) Black, will graduate from Maine West High School on June 8th. He is an honor roll student. In the fall, Brian will be attending Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where he will major in Kinesiology/Pre-Health.
Roy Panthier, son of Roy and Cynthia Panthier, was recognized/graduated from 8th grade on Friday, May 30th, 2014, from Ellis Middle School in Elgin, IL. Roy was on the Honor Roll and received a Certificate of Honor Award. Roy will be attending Elgin High School in the fall and he will be playing Football and Basketball this coming School year.
Annie Michael, graduated from Lake Forest High School. She is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Michael. In the fall she will be attending Loyola Medical School.
June 15th - 26th Fr. Aren will be attending the bi-annual meeting of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin. In case of an emergency, Fr. Aren can be reached on his mobile phone at 773-457-4122. For all other matters, please contact the church office.
On Monday Fr. Aren will be in the church office from 2:00 - 5:00pm and on Wednesday From 10:00 - 3:00pm.
