Please be advised that according to the tradition of the Armenian Church, members of the congregation are strongly reminded to refrain from walking in and out of the Sanctuary while services are in progress. You are especially reminded not to do so during Reading of Lections until the Creed is recited, The Chalice Procession,The Hymn “Der Voghormia,” Singing of Hayr Mer – Lord’s Prayer, During Confession and Communion and During the Sermon. Please, wait in the vestibule until such time when it is proper to enter the Sanctuary.

Altar Flowers - The flowers adorning the altar today are presented to the glory of God by The Women's Guild in memory of all the deceased members of the Women's Guild.

Prayer Requests - For those who request Hokehankisd (Requiem Service) or to enter a loved one's name on the prayer list, please call the church by Thursday of that week for printing in the Sunday bulletin. Requiem Service may take place during the entire year (including Lent) except for the 5 Tabernacle Feast Days.

Nicene Creed: Together, we shall recite the Nicene Creed (The Profession of Our Faith) on Pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book found in the pews.

Confession and Communion - For those who wish to receive Holy Communion are asked to remain in their pews and together read the "Confession and Absolution" on Page 48 of the Divine Liturgy Book.  When taking communion, make the sign of the cross and say:  I have sinned against God - Megha Asdoozo.  Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy altar.

Holiday Bake Sale - Following Divine Litugry the Women's Guild will be sponsoring their Holiday Bake Sale which will include Delicious Armenian Delicacies, Paklava, Cheese Boreg, Choreg, Monte and more. 

50th Anniversary - Those who so graciously lent their photos to the 50th Anniversary Committee may pick up their envelopes after church services.  

ON SALE NOW - To Purchase your 50th Anniversary Cookbook call the church office at 773-637-1711 or pick one up during Felowship hour.  The cost per book is $25.00  

Annual Christmas Party - Sunday, December 7th immediately following Badarak we ask each guest to contribute a home-made dish to be shared among the group.  This Christmas, we are supporting Franciscan House of Mary & Joseph.  We are asking each Adult to bring a package of men's or women's new underwear in any adult size.  We are asking each child to bring 2 canned goods for St. Cyprian Food Pantry.

When the Need Arises - Get in Touch With the Church OfficeBefore making any preparations, in choosing date and time for Weddings and Baptisms, please be sure to contact Fr. Aren Jebejian. All Sacraments must be arranged at least three months ahead.  Other church related matters, such as hospital and home visitations and counseling, should be made first with Fr. Aren.  In order to invite clergy from other churches, arrangements must be made through the church office.   

On Monday Fr. Aren will be will be in the church office from 2:00 - 5:00pm. and on Wednesday Fr. Aren will be spending Thanksgiving with his family.
