Prayer Requests - For those who request Hokehankisd (Requiem Service) or to enter a loved one's name on the prayer list, please call the church by Thursday of that week for printing in the Sunday bulletin. Requiem Service may take place during the entire year (including Lent) except for the 5 Tabernacle Feast Days.

Nicene Creed: Together, we shall recite the Nicene Creed (The Profession of Our Faith) on Pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book found in the pews.
Confession and Communion - For those who wish to receive Holy Communion are asked to remain in their pews and together read the "Confession and Absolution" on Page 48 of the Divine Liturgy Book. When taking communion, make the sign of the cross and say: I have sinned against God - Megha Asdoozo. Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy altar.

Graduates Wanted - If you know of any graduates, please send a short bio (student's and parent's names, school, special achievements and honors, future plants, etc) to the church office by Thursday, June 4th. This will be a good way for our entire church family to share their accomplishments.
Claudia Ani Johns will graduate from the Latin School of Chicago on June 4th, 2015. This summer she will be participating in the After School Matters Musical Theater Experience, working, and learning to drive. In the fall, Claudia will attend UCLA with the intention of double majoring in General Theater Studies and Creative Writing. She's excited to be studying in the LA area near her Godparents Ivan and Kohar Kesian who live in Pasadena, California.
Nicole Karabas Graduate of New Trier High School - Honor Role Student, 4 year Varsity Letterman in 2 sports - Gymnastics Team (4 years), Gymnastics Team Captain 2014, 2015, Girls Track & Field (4 years), MVP Field Events 2014, 2015, All Conference Pole Vault, 2013,2014,2015, IHSA State Qualifier, 2013, IHSA State Finalist, 2014, 2015. Concert Orchestra - Violinist, Junior Board Member of Misericordia, Junior Board Member of the McKenna Foundation. Nicole will be attending Elon University in North Carolina in the Fall where she will pursue General Studies and compete as a Division I athlete on the Women's Track and Field team (Pole Vaulting).
Requiem for Cardinal George - On Sunday, June 7th following Divine Liturgy a special Requiem Service will be held in honor of Cardinal George's 40th day of his death. On this occasion The Very Rev. Fr. Thomas Baima will deliver the day's homily.
When the Need Arises - Get in Touch With the Church Office - Before making any preparations, in choosing date and time for Weddings and Baptisms, please be sure to contact Fr. Aren Jebejian. All Sacraments must be arranged at least three months ahead. Other church related matters, such as hospital and home visitations and counseling, should be made first with Fr. Aren. In order to invite clergy from other churches, arrangements must be made through the church office.
On Monday Fr. Aren will be in the church office from 2:00 - 5:00pm. On Wednesday from 10:00-3:00pm.
