Prayers for the Sick
During the singing of “Der Voghormya”, page 45 of the Divine Liturgy Book, we pray for peace and for the sick. Let us remember in particular the parishioners who are ill at home, hospital or nursing home:
Kindly notify the Church Office with any updates on the above mentioned names.
Opening of the Doors - Trnpatsek
On the occasion of Palm Sunday, the Feast of our Lord Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, following the sermon, the traditional service of Trnpatsek will be conducted. This is a liturgical drama by which the faithful earnestly pray that the Lord will open the gates of paradise, the Kingdom of Heaven, before us.
This will be followed with a procession out to the entrance area of the church during which palms will be held in remembrance of the Palm Sunday event.
The Parish Council gratefully acknowledges all who so generously donated palms for our Palm Sunday celebration.
Light of St. Gregory
Thank you to the Karian Family for donating the cost of keeping the “Light of St. Gregory” illuminated for the month of March.
The members of the ACYOA Juniors and Seniors cordially invite all to the annual lunch celebrating Armenian Church youth. Our special guest is Ms. Ani Grigorian, chairperson of the ACYOA Central Council
