Lily Plants, Candles, Flowers For Easter, Tomb of Christ and Good Friday 

The Parish Council gratefully acknowledges all who so generously donated Lily Plants, Candles and Flowers for our Easter Sunday celebration.

 Light of St. Gregory

Thank you to the Karian Family for donating the cost of keeping the “Light of St. Gregory” illuminated for the month of March. 


Special Choir Plate Collection Today

Today, the first collection plate which will be passed during the Diptyches (Arakelots p. 36) will go towards the Nairi Choir Scholarship Fund of our church. 

Colored Easter Eggs

The Parish Council and Women's Guild wish to thank all who donated Easter Eggs for the Havgutakhagh. They are beautifully colored and are for sale.  Of all the symbols associated with Easter, the egg is the symbol of fertility and new life.

 Requests for Prayers and Requiem Service

Kindly notify the Church Office by Thursday in order to include a loved one in the prayer list or for a Requiem request for the following Sunday. Requiems may be requested for any Sunday of the year except on the five Tabernacle Feast Days.

Participation and Etiquette

Parishioners are encouraged to recite the Nicene Creed together on pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book, as well as the Confession on page 48 in preparation for receiving Holy Communion. 

Please refrain from entering the sanctuary during the: Lections, Nicene Creed, Chalice Procession, singing of the Hayr Mer (Lord’s Prayer), Der Voghormya (Lord have mercy), reading of Confession, Holy Communion and sermon. Once you have entered the sanctuary, kindly remain until the conclusion of the service. When approaching the priest to receive Holy Communion, make the sing of the cross and say, “Megha Asdoodzo” or “I have sinned against God.” Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy Altar.
