During the singing of “Der Voghormya”, page 45 of the Divine Liturgy Book, we pray for peace and for the sick. Let us remember in particular the parishioners who are ill at home, hospital or nursing home:

Light of St. Gregory
Thank you to Sami & Madlen Dulkadir for donating the cost of keeping both “Lights of St. Gregory” illuminated for the month of May In memory of the souls of the Dulkadir, Tapucu, Moripek, Derkaprielian, Donikoglu & Kilich families who are at rest.
Requests for Prayers and Requiem Service
Kindly notify the Church Office by Thursday in order to include a loved one in the prayer list or for a Requiem request for the following Sunday. Requiems may be requested for any Sunday of the year except on the five Tabernacle Feast Days.
Participation and Etiquette
Parishioners are encouraged to recite the Nicene Creed together on pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book, as well as the Confession on page 48 in preparation for receiving Holy Communion.
Please refrain from entering the sanctuary during the: Lections, Nicene Creed, Chalice Procession, singing of the Hayr Mer (Lord’s Prayer), Der Voghormya (Lord have mercy), reading of Confession, Holy Communion and sermon. Once you have entered the sanctuary, kindly remain until the conclusion of the service. When approaching the priest to receive Holy Communion, make the sing of the cross and say, “Megha Asdoodzo” or “I have sinned against God.” Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy Altar.
