Light of St. Gregory
Thank you to Sami & Madlen Dulkadir for donating the cost of keeping both “Lights of St. Gregory” illuminated for the month of May In memory of the souls of the Dulkadir, Tapucu, Moripek, Derkaprielian, Donikoglu & Kilich families who are at rest.
If you know of any graduates, please send a short bio (student's and parent's names, school, special achievements and honors, future plans, etc) to the church office by June 5th. This will be a good way for our entire church family to share their accomplishment.
Participation and Etiquette
Parishioners are encouraged to recite the Nicene Creed together on pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book, as well as the Confession on page 48 in preparation for receiving Holy Communion.
Please refrain from entering the sanctuary during the: Lections, Nicene Creed, Chalice Procession, singing of the Hayr Mer (Lord’s Prayer), Der Voghormya (Lord have mercy), reading of Confession, Holy Communion and sermon. Once you have entered the sanctuary, kindly remain until the conclusion of the service. When approaching the priest to receive Holy Communion, make the sing of the cross and say, “Megha Asdoodzo” or “I have sinned against God.” Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy Altar.
