During the singing of “Der Voghormya”, page 45 of the Divine Liturgy Book, we pray for peace and for the sick. Let us remember in particular the parishioners who are ill at home, hospital or nursing home:

Thank you to Sami & Madlen Knadjian for donating the cost of keeping both “Lights of St. Gregory” illuminated for the month of May In memory of the souls of the Dulkadir, Tapucu, Moripek, Derkaprielian, Donikoglu & Kilich families who are at rest.  

Graduates Wanted

If you know of any graduates, please send a short bio (student's and parent's names, school, special achievements and honors, future plans, etc) to the church office by June 5th. This will be a good way for our entire church family to share their accomplishment.

Hye Camp 2016 CIT/Staff Training

Please submit your CIT (Counselor in Training) and Staff Application by June 1 and CAMPERS take advantage of the Early bird discount by submitting your application by June 1.  This year, $100 scholarships will be given to the first 60 campers who sign up to attend for two weeks.  CIT and Staff training will run from Wednesday, July 27 - Saturday, July 30.  The two-week camp session begins Saturday, July 30 - Saturday, August 13, A one-week camp session will be offered Saturday, July 30 - Saturday, August 6th for our entire camp community.  For those unable to attend the first week, they may sign up for the second week which runs from Saturday, August 6-Saturday, August 13.  Participation and Etiquette

Parishioners are encouraged to recite the Nicene Creed together on pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book, as well as the Confession on page 48 in preparation for receiving Holy Communion. 

Please refrain from entering the sanctuary during the: Lections, Nicene Creed, Chalice Procession, singing of the Hayr Mer (Lord’s Prayer), Der Voghormya (Lord have mercy), reading of Confession, Holy Communion and sermon. Once you have entered the sanctuary, kindly remain until the conclusion of the service. When approaching the priest to receive Holy Communion, make the sing of the cross and say, “Megha Asdoodzo” or “I have sinned against God.” Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy Altar.

 Picnic Meeting Dates - June 6th, July 11th and August 1st. Skewering will be on August 11th and set up on August 12th.
