Sunday School News

It is with great pleasure to announce the graduation of Alisha Panthier from Sunday School today.  Alisha has attended since the age of 5 Kindergarten thru her Senior year of High School.  She will truly be missed on Sunday's, but we wish her all the "Best" and look forward to seeing Alisha thru her college years back attending/serving her church thru Bible reading, singing in the choir and helping out in Sunday School.  "Best of Luck" to you Alisha!

Jessica Abezetian Caplis was awarded the degree of Master of Arts Educational Mathematics from Aurora University


Thomas Demirjian graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and will be attending Grad School at Arizona State University.


Cameron Hoelter graduates from Deerfield High School and will continue his studies at Iowa State University in Ames.  Proud parents are Marta & Todd Hoelter and Nana Charlotte Bader.


Ani Ipjian graduated from Stevenson High School and will be attending Kent State



Aidan Ipjian graduated from Grammer School and will be attending Stevenson High School



Mason Arden Vahe Karian graduated from Glenbrook North High School in June 2016.  He will be attending Wyotech Institute in Blairsville, PA.



Kyle John Paklaian graduated Sunday, May 22, 2016 from Marquette University College of Business Administration.  He received the degree Bachelor of Science in Marketing and information Technology. 


Maria R. Panthier graduated from Northern Illinois University on Saturday, May 14, 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Family & Child Studies with an emphasis in Child Development with sub-emphases in leadership and child life specialist.  During Maria's college years, she was a part of three organizations, NIU Red Riot Fan Club, NIAYEC Student Satellite Club and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.  Maria plans to become a day care teacher in the fall working with infant through preschool.  Her parents Roy & Cynthia are very proud of her.  Congratulations Maria!


Alisha M. M.  Panthier graduated from Elgin High School on Saturday, May 28, 2016 and Alisha also graduated from Sunday School today, June 12, 2016.  Alisha's accomplishments have been many from playing the Violin for 9 years to Volleyball and Basketball for 9 years to Homecoming Queen and named "Best Personality" Class of 2016 along with receiving several other certificates.  Alisha will continue her studies at North Park University, Chicago, IL in Philosophy, Pre Law and will be playing Basketball for NPU Go Vikings! Her parents Roy & Cynthia are very proud of her.  Congratulations Alisha! 


Hye Camp

  CIT and Staff training will run from Wednesday, July 27 - Saturday, July 30.  The two-week camp session begins Saturday, July 30 - Saturday, August 13, A one-week camp session will be offered Saturday, July 30 - Saturday, August 6th for our entire camp community.  For those unable to attend the first week, they may sign up for the second week which runs from Saturday, August 6-Saturday, August 13.  Calendar of Events 

SUMMER HOURS - will begin on June 19th, Morning Service will begin at 9:30am. and Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:00am.


Father's Day - A light luncheon will be served by Silva Karachorlu on behalf of the Women's Guild in honor of Father's Day.


 Picnic Meeting Dates - July 11th and August 1st. at 7:30pm. Skewering will be on August 11th and set up on August 12th
