Prayers for the Sick
During the singing of “Der Voghormya”, page 45 of the Divine Liturgy Book, we pray for peace and for the sick. Let us remember in particular the parishioners who are ill at home, hospital or nursing home:

Participation and Etiquette
Parishioners are encouraged to recite the Nicene Creed together on pages 18-19 of the Divine Liturgy Book, as well as the Confession on page 48 in preparation for receiving Holy Communion.
Please refrain from entering the sanctuary during the: Lections, Nicene Creed, Chalice Procession, singing of the Hayr Mer (Lord’s Prayer), Der Voghormya (Lord have mercy), reading of Confession, Holy Communion and sermon. Once you have entered the sanctuary, kindly remain until the conclusion of the service. When approaching the priest to receive Holy Communion, make the sing of the cross and say, “Megha Asdoodzo” or “I have sinned against God.” Ladies must have a head covering when approaching the Holy Altar.
Colored Easter Eggs
The Parish Council and the Women's Guild wish to thank all who donated Easter Eggs for the Havgutakhagh. They are beautifully colored and are for sale. Of all the symbols associated with Easter, the egg is the symbol of fertility and new life is the most identifiable.
Holy Week Donations
The Parish Council gratefully acknowledge and thank all the faithful parishioners and friends of St. Gregory Armenian Church for their Easter Yughakin, Palms for Palm Sunday, Plants and flowers for the Tomb of Jesus, Easter Lilies and Candles enhancing the altar and sanctuary. All those who made donations for Lily Plants may take them home after services. It's still not too late to make your Easter Donation.
Special Choir Plate Collection Today
Today, the first collection plate which will be passed during the Diptyches ("Arakelots"... Page 36) will go towards the Nairi Choir Scholarship Fund of our church.
Care, Maintenance and Cost of the "Light of St. Gregory"
Our thanks to Charles & Suzanne Demirjian for taking the responsibility of the cost of Keeping "The Light of St. Gregory illuminated for the month of April. Our thanks to Leona Mirza and Ann Lousin for taking the responsibility of the cost of Keeping "The Light of St. Gregory" at the stained glass window illuminated for the month of April in memory of their father Max Lousin.
